CARPRO Orange Peeling Pad Grit 2000 Denim

CARPRO Denim is an aggressive machine polishing pad for reducing orange peel and selected defects in the upper clear coat. Its cutting action is comparable to 2000-grit sanding, while polishing the surface as it levels texture. Follow with a suitable compound and finishing polish as needed.

Use with care

• Use only when the texture is in the upper clear coat; do not use on colour coat.
• Check paint thickness and condition before correcting. A paint thickness gauge and experience with paint correction are strongly recommended.
• Use light pressure and low machine speed. A rotary polisher and a soft backing pad are recommended by the manufacturer.
• Work a small test area first, monitor panel temperature and inspect the result under good lighting.
• Take extra care around edges and body lines. Stop if the clear coat is thin, damaged or uncertain.

This is a specialist correction pad. It removes clear coat as it levels texture; results depend on the paint and the operator. It is not a substitute for assessing the paint before use.
